This area deals with how people feel about their personal development. It includes the extent to which they learn and develop their potential and the extent to which the organisation supports their growth.
Job Satisfaction
This area measures the amount of intrinsic satisfaction people experience actually performing their role in your organisation. This includes how important, interesting and enjoyable they find their work.
Independence
This area measures the extent to which people feel free to organise their own work and set their own goals and use their initiative and innovation by experimenting with different ways of working.
2. The People
Cooperation
This area concerns how people feel about their relationships with their colleagues and team members in terms of dependability, value, level of contribution and wider cooperation.
Vertical Relationship
This area concerns the relationships people have with their manager (or supervisor). This includes whether the relationship is founded on mutual respect, and whether the respondents feel they can depend on the support and feedback of their manager.
3. The Transaction
Salary & Rewards
This area measures how the people feel about the salary, benefits and other rewards they receive. It includes whether they perceive the reward systems as fair and appropriate, and how they feel about the link between performance and reward.
Career Progression
This area measures how satisfied people are with advancement within the organisation, in terms of promotion and career progression, including perceived opportunity and clarity of career paths
Loyalty & Trust
This area measures whether the people feels the relationship between employees and the organisation are based on loyalty and trust.
4. The Organisation
Organisational Confidence
This area is about the amount of confidence people place in the leadership of your organisation, including perceptions of decision-making by senior management. In addition, it measures how people perceive the competence of their co-workers and the future success of your organisation.
Ethical Standards
This area concerns how people perceive your organisation’s ethical standards and the extent to which the organisation encourages equal opportunities, diversity and treats employees with fairness and respect.
Belonging
This area concerns people's belief in the organisation’s mission, vision and values. Whether there is a sense of belonging and pride in working for the organisation.
Communications
This area is about clarity and the direction in which the organisation is heading, and being able to understand the rationale of the key decisions being made.
5. The Environment
Well-Being
This area concerns the impact of the job on people, both physically and emotionally. It includes how stressful the people perceive the demands of the job, the extent to which they feel able to cope and the impact on their overall work-life balance.
Working Conditions
This area concerns the physical and procedural conditions of working in your organisation. It measures how comfortable and safe the people perceive the workplace, and the quality and reliability of the equipment provided for them to perform their jobs.
